Advanced Tanrik Yoga Practices

These classes are designed for people who are already somewhat familiar with the basics of different meditation techniques. In our session we will explore and practice techniques of the ancient Tantric yoga. THese techniques are rooted in the original ancient Tantric text of the last 1500 years of the history of Tantrik yoga. The goal of the Tantrik yoga is the realization of one’s essence nature, and ending suffering through development of insight and compassion for the benefit of all beings, through experiential realization of innate oneness of the universe. The class will start with a discussion of history, view, and principles ot Tanrik yoga. A Tantrik meditation technique will be introduced and explored, followed with 15-20 minutes of practice. We will close the session by exploring questions and shares by the group. Please bring your favorite pillow, meditation cushion, blanket, or anything else you need to be comfortable. Show less
